FJC Learning Initiative: Foxes with Questions

שועלים עם שאלות

Our 22nd year of Religious School begins in September 2023. Our school strives to provide a Jewish religious education to children from all Jewish backgrounds. In addition to these classes, we have Bar and Bat Mitzvah prep classes available for our students who are approaching this important landmark.

Beginning in January 2024, our religious school programming has been reinvisioned under the guidance of Rabbi Rachel to be inclusive of all ages and abilities and includes music and meaning, t’fillah, Hebrew, and Living our Torah that all incorporate engaging hands-on activities to bring the program to life. There are also multiple special programs and guests throughout the year. The school meets weekly on Sunday mornings.

We are looking forward to a great year!

This year the Executive Board would again like to make a special appeal on behalf of our religious school. Rarely, even in the largest of congregations, is a religious school supported by tuition alone; our school is no exception. Because many young FJC families have more than one child enrolled in the school, tuition can create a financial burden.

If you are in a financial position to do so, we would like to invite you to become a school benefactor, either through a one-time gift to our education fund, or through smaller, monthly gifts. 100% of funds received are used to meet school expenses, as we operate the school with an all-volunteer staff. All gifts are tax deductible.

Thank you in advance for any financial help in educating our community’s children, who are the builders of our people’s future.
